Popeye may have needed his spinach but who neglected to give us a cartoon about superhero superfoods?  Superfood has become a buzzword in nutrition.  The definition morphs according to each nutritionist, but we don't want to leave anyone out, so we will keep it as comprehensive as possible but while resisting the temptation to make an underdog argument for everything we can think of!  For now, we will begin with listing a few superfoods that are harder to categorize so are best given some exclusivity by being featured here.  Our fave?  Ever heard of Cha-cha-cha chia?  This superfood got its very own theme song in its TV debut as a garden pet, but its actually one of the most impressive of the superfoods, using the purest definition!  Find out more below...
